12.5″ Mid SPECWAR Barrel/LMT Mono MRP Upper/KAK Dual Ejector Chrome Bolt

The patented LMT Monolithic Rail Platform, MRP™ upper receiver.

The receiver and handguard are made from a single piece of aerospace grade aluminum. The barrel is held in place with a proprietary locking system that utilizes two locking bolts accessible from the right side of the receiver. The only tool needed is a standard T-30 Torx bit to tighten the bolts. This receiver requires the patented LMT monolithic barrel assembly which has a low profile gas block with straight gas tube.

The MRP-L MLOK 11.5 ‘Specwar’ is designed for use with 12.5″ barrels, but can use barrels longer than 14.5″ in length. M-LOK compatible attachment points on all 8 sides.

LMT MRP 12.5″ 5.56 Midlength Barrel

This LMT 12.5” Chrome Lined 5.56×45 1:7” RH barrel is designed to match the LMT MRP or MRP CQB quick-change barrel systems.

The gas system has already been installed to match your MRP upper receiver. To install this barrel, use the factory torque wrench to release the retaining bolts at the base of your handguard, swap this barrel in, and tighten the bolts down to LMT’s spec. If you want to change calibers or barrel lengths, we offer several other MRP barrels to match your needs.

This barrel was specifically designed to compliment the L7Z1A “Spec War” upper receiver. The short dwell time of the gas system creates an optimal recoil impulse and gas pressure for both suppressed and non-suppressed shooting while maintaining expected reliability.
